Thanks a lot. So he was a hillbilly cat, and later became a king of R'nR. I assume when he was first introduced to China (maybe Taiwan or HK) in 50's - 60's, people combined 2 nicknames into one 貓王, that's why no one in Memphis today understand my question regarding the "king of cat."
