Whitney Houston，是位曾獲得葛萊美獎的美國R&B歌手、演員、電影製作人與並曾擔任模特兒。她以強而有力的嗓音、一字多轉音的感染力與寬廣的音域為世人所熟知。

1985年的第一張同名專《WHITNEY HOUSTON》，不僅全球狂賣2200萬張，蟬聯BILLBOARD專輯榜14周冠軍，多首暢銷單曲如《YOU GIVE GOOD LOVE》、《SAVING ALL MY LOVE FOR YOU》更是大家耳熟能詳的WHITNEY的代表作，WHITNEY可說是一踏入歌壇就奠定了她未來屹立不搖的天後地位。

她個人的第二張專輯《WHITNEY》，進榜首周就勇奪冠軍，尤其是蟬聯7周第一的《WHERE DO BROKEN HEARTS GO》，讓WHITNEY打破了原來由THE BEATLES和BEE GEES保持的紀錄。

BILLBOARD流行單曲榜史上惟一締造連續7首單曲問鼎排行冠軍曲(從1985年的《SAVING ALL MY LOVE FOR YOU》到1988年的《WHERE DO BROKEN HEARTS GO》)的歌手。

這是她2012年的一張懷舊紀念精選專輯：「I Will Always Love You: The Best Of Whitney Houston"。包括成名曲《YOU GIVE GOOD LOVE》、《SAVING ALL MY LOVE FOR YOU》等等。

渾厚的嗓音、極寬的音域使她演唱的歌曲都氣勢磅，感人肺腑。

The album features a selection a Houston's greatest hits including remastered versions of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", "How Will I Know", "So Emotional", "I Have Nothing" and "One Moment in Time". The album was released in both standard and deluxe versions. It was also released with an accompanying 5 track bonus CD with the duets sung by Houston and other artist. The album includes new liner notes written by Clive Davis.

Also included is a previously unreleased song titled "Never Give Up" and a re-recorded version of the "I Look to You" as a duet with R. Kelly, who is also the writer. The song was released on September 25, 2012 as the first single from the album.

At the 2013 NAACP Image awards, the album won two awards in the 'Outstanding Album' and 'Outstanding Song' categories. The latter was for the song 'I Look To You', a duet version with R Kelly featured on the album.

The week of its release, the album peaked at #14 on the US Billboard 200 and #2 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. The album has sold over 200,000 copies in the United States alone till date.
