96年11月，生前默默無聞的女歌手Eva Cassidy因為皮膚癌離開了人世，年僅33歲。99年由於英國BBC的一個慈善節目讓世人發現了這顆滄海遺珠. 現在她的歌曲有很多都為人們所熟悉，例如這首Song Bird,Over The Rainbow（翻唱Judy Garland，女聲十八首天碟落地裏有）、Autumn Leaves、Dark Side Of The Street、Natural Woman（You Make Me Feel Like）等。稱為心靈歌聲，傾聽的時候希望和麵紙保持觸手可及的距離，事後莫謂老弦言之不預也。
