Panflute and the Folk Music of Peru

On Edmonton Heritage Festival 2009 I came across a folk music band from Peru and found panflute plays such an important role in their music. The festival like other years had 3 days and I spent one entire day at the Peru Pavilion. Late on I found the panflute song El Condor Pasa is almost Peru's national song and the master panflutist Gheorghe Zamfir is like the god of music to the music lovers in Peru.
