Celine Dion is one of the most skillful singer of her time. Just think about the song It's All Coming Back To Me Now. It is technically such a difficult song and requires so strong vocal powers but she does it so beautifully every time. Of course I do more than agree with you on that she has the best vocal quality, as you called golden voice.
In addition, I would say most of the songs Celine Dion sang were the best songs of the time. I believe that is what a super start takes.
