粵劇 - 帝女花

帝女花 was created in the 1950s by 唐滌生. 1957, 仙鳳鳴劇團 hosted the first "帝女花" 粵劇 (Chinese Opera). It starred the original cast of characters: 任劍輝 as 周世顯, 白雪仙 as 長平公主, 梁醒波 as 周鍾 and 靚次伯 as 崇禎帝/清帝. In 1959, the official film was released using the original cast from the play (梁醒波 is not featured). 1960, the official "帝女花" record featuring the 3 best known parts of the play: 庵遇 (第四場), 相認 (第五場) and 香夭 (第八場). 帝女花之香夭 was the final scene of 帝女花, featuring 周世顯 and 長平公主 being married in secret. But because of the corruption of the kingdom, and the limited amount of time before being killed, they committed suicide together by drinking poison. In 1976, the film of "帝女花" featuring 雛鳳鳴劇團 actors: 龍劍笙 & 梅雪詩 (both students of 任白), 靚次伯 and 梁醒波 was made; 顧家輝 composed all the songs in this movie.

女：唉惜花者甘殉葬
花燭夜難為駙馬飲砒霜
男：江山悲災劫　感先帝恩千丈
與妻雙雙叩問帝安
女：唉盼得花燭共諧白髮
誰個願看花燭翻血浪
唉我誤君累你同埋蒘網
好應盡禮揖花燭深深拜
再合巹交杯墓穴作新房
待千秋歌讚註駙馬在靈牌上
男：將柳蔭當做芙蓉帳　明朝駙馬看新娘
夜半挑燈有心作窺妝
女：地老天荒情鳳永配癡凰
願與夫婿共拜相交杯舉案
男：遞過金杯慢咽輕嘗
將砒霜帶淚放落葡萄上
女：合歡與君醉夢鄉
男：碰杯共到夜台上
女：唉百花冠替代殮裝
男：駙馬珈墳墓收藏
女：相擁抱
男：相偎傍
合：雙枝有樹透露帝女香
男：帝女花
女：長伴有心郎
合：夫妻死去樹也同模樣
