【相思曲】

風悠悠，雲悠悠，
Wind blowing softly, clouds drifting slowly,
南江晚秋，月映小橋頭。
Southern river of late Autumn, moon reflecting under a little bridge.
情悠悠，意悠悠，
(My) mood flows like water, (My) mind drifting like clouds,
寒水孤帆，依依送君走。
A lonely boat sailing on chilling water, I farewell thee.
山高水長，
Oh (comparing to) towering mountain peaks and river stretching as far as eye can see,
最苦是離愁，
the worst part of my life is missing you.
鳥兒亦無語，欲訴還休。
Even the bird has stopped singing, and I too am speechless
山高水長，意留心頭。
Even though we will be thousands of miles apart, I keep my love of you in my heart
隻盼月圓時，再約黃昏後。
I only wish by the next full moon, we could be together again
(enjoying the moon light together thousands of miles apart).
