Hi, 紅珊瑚, you always give me tough assignment. I could not find the video in my AV library. Thanks to YouTube, it's there. "Mocking" may not be the right word. Maybe I got the impression from the way he plays on that passage. But, "The pomposity of the Fifth Symphony or the banality of the Violin Concerto", Then "the tiresome idea" in the Fifth Piano Concerto which he refers it as "junk".

Are you expecting no more? Read the commends of the clip. It gets more interesting,
"Gould tried to write an essay to prove that K491 (one of Mozart's greatest piano concertos) is a bad work."
"Gould even said of Symphony No.40 in G minor, '8 remarkable measures, half an hour of banality.'"

Something Andras Schiff said about Gould was also interesting,
"He also didn't care for the piano sonatas, which he nevertheless recorded - to prove their mediocrity."
