畢約林（Jussi Bjorling，1911～1960）

瑞典男高音歌唱家。曾先後受學於皇家音樂學院及斯德哥爾摩皇家歌劇學校。1930年首次登台。 1935年在維也納國家歌劇院演出《阿伊達》大獲成功後，為歐美各大歌劇院及唱片廠爭相聘請。1938年在大都會歌劇院扮演《藝術家的生涯》中的魯道爾夫。翌年又在倫敦修道院花園歌劇院扮演《遊吟詩人》中的曼裏科。之後返回瑞典，直到第二次世界大戰結束後，才在大都會歌劇院複出，並往返演出於歐美各國歌劇舞台。

畢約林的音色優美，感情真摯，格調高雅，既富於冷靜的思考，又具有奔放的熱情。被公認為本世紀除卡魯索、吉裏外最負盛譽的歌唱家。
