The Flower Duet" (Sous le dôme épais) is a famous duet from Léo Delibes’s opera Lakmé.
拉克美（Lakme）三幕歌劇，德立勃所作。1883年初演於巴黎。劇情取自法國劇作家貢迪內（1828—1888）的戲劇《洛蒂的結婚》：英國軍官傑拉爾德與印度婆羅門祭司尼拉坎塔之女拉克美相愛。尼拉坎塔憎恨英國人，趁二人見麵之機，把劍刺傷傑拉爾德。幸得拉克美搶救，傑拉爾德脫險，兩人得以相聚。此時英印戰爭迫在眉睫，傑拉爾德奉命隨軍出發，拉克美服毒自盡。
“在白色茉莉織成的穹頂之下，玫瑰花交織在其中，河畔上的滿布著嬌笑的黎明花朵。輕輕地飄浮在其迷人的波浪之上，隨著河水起伏，乘著波光來去， 一手迎向河岸，春天睡著鳥兒高歌。” 這是拉克美一劇中著名的花之二重唱。此曲出現在第一幕中一開始，正當父親在訓斥眾婆羅門教徒要憎恨英國人時，他的女兒拉克美則不經世事地在花園中散步著，她和自己的女奴瑪莉卡於是對著茉莉花所織成的穹頂唱起了這首幸福的二重唱。這是由女高音和次女高音所演唱的著名歌曲。就是在這首歌中， 傑拉爾德震懾於拉克美的美貌，悲劇的種子就在此萌發
