聆聽一首喜愛的古老的鄉村音樂所帶來的美感是無與倫比的。他所能喚起的不僅是遙遠的土地的聯想，而且激發那能透過語言的情感。他通常隻是人們身邊發生的平常故事，然而因為真而美，即引發出善的振顫。演唱歌手一般鄉音濃烈，嗓音醇厚，用詞簡樸，敘事優美，而引人想象無窮。這首 Don William 的原版，為我年輕時至愛，如今聽來，每每想起。。。；甚至聞到當時生活裏的氣息。因年代久遠，如要在當今的流行 CD de 重壓下，找出來實為不易。另外東方達人任先生,（as he blogged today,)近日在香港留言,極為讚同:影音藝術對語感的孕育也是功不可沒，回想那時聽力叫弱，強烈的好奇，那感覺猶如平原上忽見一匹俊美的野馬，僅隔百步，近而不得，離之難舍，憑添一份愛意在心頭；每當音樂響起，心波起伏，餘音不絕。
