艾米(Amy Lee)是小石城出去的歌手，小學曾讀Pulaski Academy。這也是兒子讀的學校，也是他喜歡的歌手。聽多了，也成了我喜歡的少有的幾個英文歌手之一。她的歌"Bring me to life"也許更有代表性，是那種好象你半支腳進了地獄，或者好象在夢中想醒又不能醒那種狀態。不過我最喜歡的還是上麵這首"My Immortal"，也許這首歌比較煽情罷了。其它的，見網站 http://www.evanescence.com/
不知你有沒有注意到，美國的一些流行的樂隊，如果是女的為主角，樂隊名則以女主角的名字命名為多，而男主角的則一般不用自己的名字作樂隊的名。艾米的樂隊名Evanescence就是例外之一。我很想試譯此歌，但我的英文還不能幫我完成這一夢想。光這歌名"我的不朽的"就難住了我，也許譯成"永在我心"？
