Li Jie (burn 1981) began studying the classical guitar at the age of 11 under Professor Chen Zhi, while Xuefei (born 1977) began at 10.
Xuefei's study with Prof Chen was based on traditional techniques while Li Jie was trained with modern skills (such as David Russell, Ana Vidovic). However, Xuefei improved her skills as well as musicality in Royal Conservatory of Music (UK) while Li Jie just got her master's degree this year from China Central Conservatory of Music.
Li is an elegant beautiful lady now...with a great sense of humor...
