Little bro,
I am sorry to hear the sad news of your colleague. Especially you witnessed it. Life is so fragile sometimes.
The sadest calls I got from the patients' relatives were when they told me that their father or mother passed away although some of them are in their 80s. It is still sad to see them gone. Their smiles keep on popping out in front of me.
Not long ago, a patient in her 60s died. Her son who is in the ary was flown home from Iraq by Red Cross to have the last glance of his mother. His mother waited for him to get home to close her eyes.
It reminded me of my own mother who passed away year ago. Yet, the last time I saw her has been lingering in my memory...
Life has to go on no matter what.
Take care,
Sis
