with yo-yo ma (i assume you referred to "Hush") was overshadowed by the cello. who can compete with yo-yo ma on a strad?
but i saw once his performace with ma at tanglewood, that was brilliant and evenly matched, performing a "piano" sonata.
what i enjoy the most watching him is that he has so much fun at making music.
yo-yo ma credited mcferrin for helping him to be a better performing artist on stage.
