that is standard impedance for most speaker towers, although 8 ohms is preferred. rx-v2700 is a nice choice, it has 7.1 channels, each channel delivers 100 watts, you can build a nice surround sound system.
do not know the speakers you mentioned, but I guess it has 8 ohms impedance.
