問一個關於音樂下載的問題

請問在美國如何合法下載音樂，
包括中外音樂，
總之就是，
有沒有合法的途徑搜尋，試聽，
並把歌曲弄到自己的ipod上，
要是合法的喔，
怕違反版權法。
