專輯介紹:

這張1999年11月發行的專輯《Sacred Arias》從字麵上翻譯應為“宗教詠歎調”，而國內更習慣將其稱之為“千禧禮讚”。在這張專輯中，波切利以虔誠的態度以及精湛的唱功，深情詮釋了16首來自曆史上不同時期著名作曲家的宗教歌曲。如其中的舒伯特、古諾等人寫下的《Ave Maria（聖母頌）》、亨德爾著名的《Ombra mai fu（在那樹蔭底下）》、威爾第《安魂曲》中的選段《Ingemisco（歎息）》以及弗蘭克的《天國的食糧》等等，都是曆史上最為傑出的宗教詠歎調。專輯的終曲特別選用了法國神父Jean-Paul Lecot（裏庫）為千禧年而寫的聖歌作品《Gloria a Te, Christo Gesu（榮譽歸於您，耶穌基督）》。擔任唱片管弦樂伴奏的是意大利最著名的樂團——羅馬聖契西裏亞音樂學院管弦樂團，他們在著名韓國指揮大師鄭明勳的帶領下，與波切利通力配合，帶給了我們無與倫比的音樂饗宴。同時PHILIPS的錄音也是一如既往的出色。
