you mentioned that the movie female role died years ago, did you mean Julie Andrews? Actually she has been very active in both Broadway and her movie career in recent years. As matter of fact, the Chicago major just declared the other day that November 15, 2005 is "Julie Andrew Day".

Among the movies she made, The Princess Diaries & The Princess Diaries 2 are the most recent one that just came out last year.

I heard at one point she had to stop singing on stage as she got a throat cancer several years ago. But it seems to be okay afterwards. Just a thought to share with you.
