She was killed in 1995. She is beloved by every Latino American. She was born in US, her parents came from Mexico.
My second landlord is from Salvador. She listens Selena's song everyday, everytime when I get back from work in night, very often I can hear this song. It washed away my tiredness, it made my mind fly. I still remember, sometime, those Latinos just sit there with beer in their hand, little bit of drunk without say anything and just listen this song. I felt I had connected with them that time.
She told me that Selena was killed by one of her crazy fans, who said loves Selena too much and can't take it anymore of her beauty....I found it wasn't true later on, she is killed because the killer mad about her for money.........but I'd rather to believe the story form my landlord. I don't remember how Selena looks like, but I know she is beautiful
