My humble explanation:

A band's forming is a timing thing. Several music players met together at the right time, then they come up with a band. But a band staying forever needs FAITH, the faith in their music, the faith in each of their members. It is quite regular that people lack of their faith, since everything is changing in this real world, so this band dismissing thing not only just happens in China, but also in every corner of the world. But we may find that Chinese bands are easier to fall apart, maybe it is because we have even less faith or maybe because we are facing too much temptations since our world is changing faster than any others'.
