這原是Paul Simon和Garfunkel樂隊的歌，取材於南美秘魯安第斯山脈的印加民歌。歌名叫El Condor Pasa，中文譯成“禿鷹飛去”。如果聽Paul Simon原唱的版本，可以聽到秘魯特色樂器排蕭的演奏，十分漂亮，高亢飄逸。

這首歌二十多年前就傳入中國大陸，好象是蘇小明用英文演唱的。二十多年來，一直是中國學生用來學習英語的歌曲。
