Botttom line: You need to get compensated by the company. All the things you cited are helpful for your case. I assume the company has offered you a lump sum of compensation? Do you think that is enough? What is the estimated worth of the stuff (obviously some have sentimental value)? Once you are comfortable about a number that would make you satisfied, work on it. If you don't push, they won't pay you.
Forget about the stuff, because they are all burned already. I doubt they would make up a fire excuse to steal your stuff. A fire is pretty hard to fake.
If they don't agree to a number that you think reasonable, I would definitely engage a law firm in LA to sue them. This is not a small claims court matter.
You need to be made whole.
