請教Caliber 和老貓版主，有關法律的名稱

Caliber 在回答我在下麵那個帖子裏說的那個 ”in some states, even if the medical expense is covered by an insurance company, you can still recover the expense from the business who is liable. so your medical expense could be a lot more than just the co-pay and drugs。“ 我理解為 如果NC (北卡)法律允許， 我可以讓他們賠償所有醫療費用， regardless that 我的保險公司是否會付一部分。
我想找到具體的法律條文， 可是不知KEY WORD 是什麽 (是什麽法或什麽條例)， 去哪找。 可以google 到嘛？
