如果是一個 Judicial Summons,您第一步應該做的是依據上麵所提供的資料向當地的法院查詢這是否真的是一個法律案件, 如果確認這是一個真正的訴訟,您需要通知您自己的保險公司協助您處理. (A summons would be a public record since it has to be filed with the court. )

In a civil case, personal jurisdiction over a defendant is obtained by service of a summons. Service can be accomplished by personal delivery of the summons or subpoena to the person or an authorized agent of the person.

在目前的情況,如果對方要您聯繫某某律師同時要求您提供任何個人資料,您無需這麼做,先確認這是一個真正的案件再說.

PS: 您也可以同時聯繫您所在州的 state bar ,確認這個通知上的某某律師是否是真正的律師.
