謝謝倆位!今天去跟Apartment Manager聯係了,她說不能中止Lease,隻可以轉租。找到繼租人後他們將與繼租人重新簽合同,我的合同將無效,繼租人將承擔他在住期間的可能的損失。
另外,我跟他們提出我原先的合同上沒有說不能中止合同,他們指了其中一段話說我該負責所簽的合同,這段話對我比較繞口。大俠給解釋解釋他們有沒有忽悠我,謝謝!
"17 Default, Waiver of Notice & Acceleration: If Lessee defaults in the payment of rent or of the performance of or compliance with any covenants or agreements herein contained. Lessor may without making any previous demand for payment or prompt notice of forfeiture, be entitled to possession of the dwelling and have the right to re-enter and declare a forfeiture and dispose, after 30 days storage at Lessee's expense, any personal property remaining therein. Lessee shall immediately quit and surrender the dwelling to Lessor, but lessee's obligation to pay rent for the full term shall be immediately due and payable, provided however, that Lessee shall be entitled to credit for any rentals thereafter collected by Lessor for re-entering the dwelling during any part of the banlance of the term hereof, less any expenses in connection therewith. All covenants and agreements herein contained are mutually dependent and once violated may not later be performed. The remedies provided for herein shall be in addition to the other remedies provided for herein or as provided by law."
