in CA, average State tax rate is about 6%, it means if your hu*****and made $333K, then the tax due is $20K. And CA state tax is heavy compare to other states in the US.

You said your hu*****and were Ji Wan (Nx10K) short of tax payment exclude what he already paid, I guess he made at least half million that year?

And, State Tax agent won't take money directly from your personal account either. (but I don't know if they can with court order)
