Some server will crash if network is disconnected. It all depends on what server, and what kind of application you are running on them.

If the OP is a good IT guy, he/she should never reset a company router. The OP is lucky. If a critical transaction is going on while the router us being reset, he/she could face criminal charge if the server crash and the transaction failed.
