I think parents should teach the kids as much as possible how to deal with every kinds of cases. Otherwise, the kids may have to experience by themselves and pay a lot for that, not only time. Good for your son he's not made things even worse. I'm thinking if I had a son and he did such a thing that may ruin his life, I would feel very sorry for him that I didn't teach him what to do to protect himself at first, and then others.
