I read online that after lease, there isn't any "a-few-days" type of thing. If tenant wants to live there, it should be a full month or re-negotiate with landlord for an agreement. It should be part of original lease or written agreement than oral agreement.

I don't want to take "a-few-days" type of extension. It is not at my best interest. I probably end with almost a month vacancy. And I will have to turn down some potential tenants who are interested in moving in at beginning of May. Since those potential tenants have to move out at their lease at end of month.

The tenant is very annoying and very rude. The tenant refuses to co-operate to schedule a showing. The tenant isn't understanding at all. If the tenant is nice, I am willing to work out something. But the tenant makes things so hard for me to even consider to work out something. I am trying to avoid eviction as much as possible. If I could solve the problem peacefully, I would. If I can't, I have no choice to go to the court.

Thank you for the suggestion.
