How much can one bring out to US through China Custom?

I have some donation (about $50k) in China for my daughter's tuition from a relative of mine and need to transfer to US. Anyone know how much one can bring out through China custom? What is the best way to transfer it here? I learnt a lot of legal knowledge in this web though I hardly left any message. Thank you all.
