I got a traffic ticket this morning for failure to yield for pedestrain in a crosswalk. The fine is $165. I checked the state website and it says I will get four points on my driver's license and it will be erased after 1 year of conviction.
I did not see the pedestrain and the officer said that old lady was crossing from the other side. He also said I was drivng too fast.
Should I contest? What's my arguement? I am concerned about the potential increase of car insurance.
Traffic ticket. Need help!
