I understand your feeling!

Adultery can be seen in almost anywhere in US but it is very hard to proof. That is why most of divorce couple seeking no-fault divorce even one part know for sure the other one has an affair.

If you want to go one step further and proof it. You have to collect all the hard evidence by a third party, say a private detector, a DNA test, and etc, plus you need to hire a very good lawyer to guide you to make sure eath of your step is legal and appropriate and can be used in court to against him. It will be time consuming and very costly.

I'd say it is really not worth it. Forget the guy and get on your own life.
