Turbo and 1040X

I use Turbo tax sofeware to prepare my 2008 tax return. I finished it two days
ago and saved it for further checking( I haven't sent out.actually I am not qualified to do e-file, I have to mail it). Today I made a little change and it immediately showed a 1040X form and ask me to explain the reason for changing. My questions are 1).Why the software showed 1040X before I send file out? 2). When I use Turbo to prepare tax, Does IRS know my preparation (making change, deleting or adding something through internet) even before I send out final version? 3).Can I ignore this 1040X form? This is my first time use Turbo, I don't know much about it! Thanks for your reply.
