基本上要看她的醫師的診斷書,Under the Federal Social Security Disability Act, "disability" means the "inability to engage in any substantial gainful activity by reason of any medically determinable physician or mental impairment which can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than 12 months or result in death."

同時加州的Social Security Disability Benefits or SSD 的基本要求是當事人需要至少在過去的十年中,連續工作至少五年以上,同時申請人至少需要在31歲以上(否則其申請程序中需要提供較多的資料來說明個人已經喪失工作能力)
