I know two people: A chinese woman stole 3 green peppers and was caught. She was pushed to the court. her family had to hire a lawer. finally, resolved. but lost money worth 30,000 green pepers.

A 14-year chinese boy stole a belt from JCpenny. he was dragged to a junior court several times. Then, he had to report to somebody how well he did 3 times during 6 months.
