if you breached the contract, they are entitled to lost profit, plus incidental and consequential damages, including interest, legal fees, etc. so they may, and most likely will, ask a lot more than just the amount of the ticket. and how much they will get depends on how much lose they can prove. but you certainly have the risk to pay a lot more than $2k.

plus, they will most likely forward it to a collection agency, and then you will have to deal with them. they normally add interest to the debt as well, at a higher rate that you would like to.
