Before J1 waiver approved, you cannot change any visa

Before J1 waiver approved, you cannot change any visa within USA, even you can not get any kind of visa outside USA. Hu*****and's GC has no help for j1 visa before J1 waiver approved.

So find a job to support the J1 is the only way. Then applying for the J1 waiver next.
