I think you can try. My friend just found a lawyer for his wrongful termination related to discrimination and retaliation (he reported his boss’s discrimination behavior to HR few months ago). However, if you want to get lawsuit, you need to get ready for it. For example, my friend’s company changes his job title and make it different from other engineers in his group after they found a lawsuit may be involved. They also hired a biggest law firm in US for this case. However, my friend’s lawyer has made a strategy for his case.
