Thank you, Caliber. I appreciate it. Quick question -- when you said that the law suit could cost us more, are you referring to the legal fees only, or could the defendant counter sue us for whatever (we have no idea what he could do, but I guess we would not know)? We filed the claim in the small claims court (asking for a maximum of $5,000 in NY). We are not hiring an attorney for this -- I am not sure if any attorney will be interested in representing us for such a small claim. However, we have been contacted by the defendent's insurance firm seeking information on the case. We are speculating that we would be facing not just the defendent, but also his attorney hired by his insurance firm -- we will be facing not one but two attorneys in court!
