She/He is entiled to all American benifits. Stop worriing about things that are out of your hands..Get a job at ChinaTown. Or go deliver pizza,work for a construction company. Whatever it takes,take care of your family first. Six months goes really quickly. Only the immigraion office has the right to check your immigration status. Not even the regular cops. If this is what you and your wife want,have your baby here, then Fxxk the immigration status! In the mean time, apply Canadian green card. You can do it yourself or hire a lawyer. It is really easy. Bottum line, live your lifes. Six months later you can decide whatever you want to do. If you are lucky, you Ca green card will arrive in 6 months. Best luck to you..
