The truck did not see you at all. It did not signal you before the turn. Even the truck did signal you, it still has to wait to make sure the the lane is clear. When you change lane, you have to signal first and make sure there is enough space to make the change. Just signal is not enough. The truck cut you off. Your speed is very low, otherwise, your damage will be more serious. The damage is like low speed impact around 5 miles/hour. You did the right thing by avoiding the truck and try to stop at the same time. The skate mark prove this point.
