Major stores' fitting room does not have camera. Nobody wants to be liable for this type of legal consequences. Employee who watch the camera was paid $9-$15 per hour. Those are not the best candidate you want to hire. Similar position in casino was paid $16-$25 a hour start.

It is almost impossible to place a camera in the area where they can see you naked. If that is your question.

However it is possible the fixed camera can be setup a way that they can get brief idea of what you are doing. This is a old trick we used:

Place a mirror in the fitting room, and camera on the opposite of the mirror. When you step back to look at yourself in the mirror, your body will be blocked by the wall but camera can see your head if you are between 5' to 6.3'.

This setup is good for group of fitting rooms in large discounted stores. For high end stores, I dont think they want to do that.

If you are in a private store own by John Doe from XXXX. You are better chance to be filmed.
