2. Attack is a very board defination. Personally, unless it is happen in my home or a close environment, I would not attack back. Of course, if other party want to cause you body injury or life threading situation, you need do whatever you can to save yourself. If you dont do it right, you can get in trouble. Even you won the criminal case, you might loss the civil case.

3. Assume your kids is a minor, and those kids are minor, you should not get physical with other kids, even they are a mob. Call police or school security is your best bet. Tell your kids stay in the right circle. Or move to a better school district.
