I don't know. His attorney just said his salary was wired into his bank and he had no any document on that. From his declaration, he didn't report tax to US in 2007.
1. I don't know his status in US. Maybe a Canadian traveller since canadian can live in US without visa?
2. if he is US traveller, does he has to pay tax in US?
if not, his claimed income should be gross income used for child support, right? or at least it can't use US tax filing rule, right? does he pay tax to canada?
3. He was on TN before this job, paid tax to US but canada, he never pay tax to Canada at the time.Now he work for a china company but still lives in US, Does he still need TN visa?
4. My attorney doesn't know his immigration status yet. Shoud I tell him? I dont think he knows these things at all. What Should I suggest him to do? Ask for a document from his employer to explain his income, tax arrangement, benefits?
