我朋友在一個華人教授長達數年的結婚幌子欺騙下，於08年6月來到OHIO，在此教授的實驗室工作。來到OHIO後，此教授被人威肋：有人已經發現了你們之前的親密關係，一旦舉報，教授將立即被學校解雇。

此教授非常害怕，讓我朋友主動辭職後回國。我朋友這麽多年在他的欺騙下，已經放棄了中國的一切來到美國，怎麽可能一下子回去呢？後來多次欲與教授交談，被拒絕。在教授的誘導下，來到了教授的家門外，教授的家屬報警，我朋友入獄。隨後教授起訴，我朋友口語不太好，又不了解美國的法律，法庭上被迫認輕罪，得以假釋。

出獄後，得知在關押期間已被學校解雇，問學校要正式的文件，學校說沒有。後來有關部門發了一個郵件，說因為我朋友給自己的主管造成恐慌，已被解雇，並應盡快離境。

我朋友現在要怎麽辦？教授逍遙法外，學校在沒有查明事實的情況下，偏聽偏信。

在離境前，我朋友要如何做，才能維護自己的權益？
