should you rethink what you are doing

我最近剛剛看中了一個房子,付了1000$的EARNEST MONEY,

但是賣家堅決不同意.

因為我們覺得我們的要求很合理,

我們就想撤銷這個OFFER

但是賣家威脅我門說,他們不會退我的EARNEST MONEY,
如果我們要是想要錢就去法庭告他們,法院判我們贏他才還我們錢.

我現在覺得就是很鬱悶,本來買房子是很高興的事情,可是被他們這麽一弄,心情壞透了,

賣家還說我們浪費他們時間.

今天和老公商量了一下,決定賭氣不買了, 反正現在又不是買不到房子,

能不能請老貓或者有經驗的人和我說一下,大致程序是怎麽樣的啊,需要請律師嘛?

My opinion, if you like the house. You should let it go.
The carpet is old, you should not keep it cause you don't know what jem is hiding inside. TO clean the all the items you mentions, it should not more than $500.

The time and effort you spend on the case will probably more than that.

I personally believe you just don't like the house. Carpet and fireplace just an execus.
