It is a right thing to do.
1. There is a purchase agreement stated who is your agent.
2. There is a buyer agent relationship paper stated how long this relationship will last.
3. State regulation different. In NV the relationship can go as far as 12 months. She will entitle to 1/2 compensation if she brought you to the house first and you went with other agent.
4. On the other hand, she can bluff you. Check your local real estate agent board for detail.
I would say let her make the Money.
