Actually, only I signed my will. My hu*****and did not bother to sign his will. :-(( (BTW, you do not want a joint will. As the survivor cannot change it later.)
The reason is, this will is for appointing my child a guardian, which is only useful when both of us are gone. At beginning of the will states, "if we both died simultaneously, assume he died first" -- this is standard wording. Legally, I think, the "simultaneously" is about 30 days. (I am not 100% sure about this, though.)
