1. Make sure you dont name anybody unless you have a witness or photo of some kind. Take photos of the mail box with damaged mails. You need that to show cause.

2. Let post office know and they will drop the mail to your door if necessary. Mail box is a federal jurisdiction.

3. Get your video cam and point at the window and hopefully you got lucky.

4. Open the mail box with caution, you might have a bee nest in the box nest time. (j/k).
